Breakfast Avocado Topping

Avocado is a daily necessity for me, packed full of healthy fats its just such an amazing invention of mother, gorgeously green inside, I am always figuring out how to add this to my meals. 

This recipe is so versatile, you can add chilli, jalapeños, pine nuts, any type of herb or spice. You can serve it as a dip or add it to your breakfast – speaking of which you can also add Multi-food or Cort RX to it, the healthy fats are such a great transporter to all the nutrients in these products.

Servings 10 (1 – 2 tablespoons)

 Ingredients: 

1/3 cup cottage cheese

1 avocado

1 tablespoon garlic (fresh)

1 tablespoon lemon and its zest

1 tablespoon chives (diced)

Optional additions- chilli, jalapeños, pine nuts, sesame seeds

 

Method:

  1. Place all the ingredients into a bowl, and using a folk mash it all together to make it a smooth consistency and it becomes well combined, top with any additions.
  2. Use it as part of your breakfast, it’s such a versatile dish – use it as a party tip, for nachos, or an afternoon snack with veggie stick – (minus the chilli if the kids get to it).
