Golden Ginger & Turmeric Gutright Cookies (Vegan)

Ingredients

1 cup almond meal (Bob Red Mill)

1/2  cup organic coconut flour 

2 tablespoons sesame seeds (simply organic)

1/2 cup crushed hazelnuts with skins on  (my organics)

 Pinch salt

1 tsp mixed spice (simply organic)

1 tsp cinnamon (Red Ape Cinnamon)

3 tsp ground ginger (simply organic)

1 knob fresh ginger / add to your strength likes – grated (fresh / homegrown)

12 caps of Cort RX (or you can use 1 knob fresh grated turmeric)

5 scoops of Gutright

1 tsp baking powder (McKenzie’s)

1 ripe bananas mashed (organic, local produce)

1/3 cup maple syrup (H2G Organic Maple Syrup (1L) Honest to Goodness)

3 tablespoons melted coconut oil  (honest to goodness organic coconut oil, virgin cold press)

2 tbsp almond butter (organic (La Mana direct)

Method:

  1. To make the cookies / pre-heat your oven to 180 degrees Celsius
  2. Mix all the dry ingredients in a large bowl then add the melted coconut oil, add in the banana’s, maple syrup, almond butter, fresh ginger and turmeric – mix to combine everything.
  3. Shape the mix into balls and pop them onto a lined baking tray then bake for approx 20-25 minutes until slightly brown on the outside.
