Seasonal eating – With the change of season, buds blossom, leaves grow,
fruit ripens and it falls to begin the cycle again. Eating with what is available
during the seasons means that we get variation in our diet, which means we
are more likely to support local farmers and produce centers and eat fresh.
This can also mean that your veggie patch changes and you learn and can
pass on how things grow to those around you, you get a feel for what goes in
so you know what is coming out as the result.
