1:00 - Cashes and things and um we've been telling nut jokes all morning oh I know it's terrible isn't it I know I know.
1:06 - People now think we're nuts well that's probably true it's funny cuz today we're we're talking about like now we regain.
1:12 - Our composure the body goes in and out of Psy and it always tries to push us back to what we term homeostasis or.
1:19 - Health normality you know not too high not too low blood pressure I went to the gym this morning blood pressure went up.
1:25 - We going to go to sleep blood pressure get so there's a thing we call homeostasis in the human body that's kind of what we're talking about today.
1:31 - Which is how to keep us in this healthy band so we're going to be talking about a couple of cool gin sings types of.
1:38 - Jining because there's more than one there's loads of them Malaysian jining we've talked about before tonar Al panex.
1:44 - Jining we've talked about before we're going to talk about Indian Jin sing today and Siberian Jin sing yeah two.
1:52 - Favorite gin sings I know well it's my two favorite I like Panic cuz it's just good for men panic panic is a bit too.
1:59 - Strong for me Malaysian ton cat is my favorite ton cat's pretty good and we.
2:05 - Did a podcast on that and that was one of the most popular podcast probably because what's his name um did a podcast.
2:10 - On it too that famous guy's yeah that what's his name yeah me St right it was.
2:18 - His name Rogan Joe Rogan but but these two jings are absolutely cool they are the.
2:25 - Like I said they're my two favorite adaptogens yes uh what what did you say was that word you used adaptogen so.
2:32 - Adaptogen adaptogen what's an adaptogen so adaptogen is um a compound that helps.
2:39 - As you said bring the body back to homeostasis so if you're basically modulate so if you're highly stressed it.
2:46 - Helps to calm down your nervous system and if you're quite flat it helps to bring it up so we have different types.
2:51 - Of adaptogens we have stimulating we have calming so depending on where you're sitting these adaptions will help.
2:58 - To just remodulate that um that your system and help you sort of be more balanced basically now we had an old.
3:04 - Product it's not out now so we can talk about it um called qu RX and and we don't have it anymore so.
3:12 - Just if you're listening we don't have it but when I used to take it it used to give me a a feeling of good I pep I'd.
3:18 - Take some before the podcast and it would give me a bit more alertness my wife she takes it at night after a nurse.
3:24 - Shift and she fall asleep yeah that's an adap isn't it it is it's an adap and and.
3:30 - An adapt restores the the normal balance so like Panic jining um that that.
3:36 - Normalizes the human physiology um but but these two adaption Siberian ginsing.
3:42 - And Indian ginsing or you Luther caucus I can't from the last.
3:48 - Nameus got to be careful remember Latin know yeah I know there's there's words in medicine you'll be very careful how.
3:54 - You say you know like we got in trouble for for mispronouncing a virus can you.
4:00 - Believe that oh yes I I know the virus about we can't say which virus but it's common in kids yeah it is it causes hand.
4:07 - Foot and mouth disease so Google that people I'm not saying the word no cuz we got in trouble um but also um um but but.
4:15 - The other jining Indian jining is also know as withania yeah you know and so.
4:21 - It's as probably ashwaganda sript name is probably the most common name probably the most well known I think.
4:27 - Yeahand yeah we're going to talk about that and then we're going to talk about types of.
4:33 - Ashwaganda and extracts and all these sorts of things and why that's important why it's not important why it's why you.
4:40 - Got to look out for it what you got to look out for on a so it's a little bit about how to buy the right herb not only.
4:45 - The right herb but also the right type of herb that's right yeah quality counts.
4:52 - Matters and form matters and and we we formulate a lot of these products and we got a few coming out in the near future.
4:58 - But what what we do we we don't have to worry about price yeah and that's the beautiful thing because we just sit.
5:05 - There and just say we want this we make our wish list yeah and then then we get beaten down no we don't we don't.
5:11 - Actually we don't we don't our our products have very good quality ingredients in them yeah and and you.
5:17 - Know not not just tender one and all that sort of thing there's a new type of um I want say which herb and I won't say.
5:24 - Which product but I've found the the Pinnacle of this type herb it's a 200 to one extra.
5:30 - Wow 200 not 20 now we when we formulate we use 10 to ones a lot 20 to ones water.
5:36 - Extracts just the highest quality yeah and then there's types of extracts which of what they call proprietary so they.
5:43 - They they have a special way to extract all the actives out of it um and so so we got to remember this this contrasts.
5:49 - Of drugs okay so so if I wanted a drug to pep you up I'd give you an amphetamine yes okay now if you took an.
5:57 - Amphetamine and I took an amphetamine and m i I took an amphetamine we'd be ped up be having we'd be having a great.
6:04 - Day wouldn't have a great night there's no windows in the podcast room that's all I can say that happening a former.
6:10 - Staff member here and didn't take amphetamines but we accidentally another guy here and dosed her on caffeine and.
6:16 - Stimulants one day I heard about this story yeah and and she was off of chops and couldn't sleep and all that sort of.
6:21 - Stuff that's what um there there's medicines that can really pep you up like that now there's also medicin that.
6:28 - Can put you to sleep if you take um laa Pam Taza Pam any other Pam um you know.
6:35 - That's the benzoin are these the Pam type drugs they call them um they will.
6:40 - You will fall asleep you won't just get a reaction and pep up they will knock you out they will attach to your gab.
6:46 - State you so medicine doesn't have an adaptogen no it doesn't have an A.
6:52 - Modulator it has things that work against physiological processes in the body and I'm not saying this is bad MH.
6:59 - Because um Lan of paper was released today and they've just reclassified the first line of treatment for hypertension.
7:07 - High blood pressure which is beta blockers now beta blockers the Nam just block the beta adrenic receptors to.
7:13 - Adrenaline so you will get a dropping blood pressure even if it's low however.
7:19 - If you've got high blood pressure there are herbs that will bring it down and if you got lower blood pressure and take.
7:24 - The same herb it will bring it up horor was a great one for the cardiovascular and we don't we don't have it we don't.
7:30 - Not promoting it it's it's a great herb as an adapted gen cuz it health it gives a healthy physiological effect to the.
7:37 - Blood vessels yeah so that's that's what an adap does and we usually refer to it in stress yes so it helps you adapt to.
7:45 - Stress yet if you took it in the morning it will help pep you up and give you a normal response and Indian jining.
7:53 - Getting on to that one now you can take that in the morning and the night and a.
7:59 - Few future products of ours we won't give away too much no but it has that herb does in the morning and night in.
8:06 - The night yeah and it's like how does that work does it help you sleep or does it help you wake up that's right both both yeah and there's evidence for both.
8:13 - Of it now we we're going to talk about just two of the jinings that's one of them and we talk about Siberian ginsing.
8:18 - Which is a really interesting it's a really it's one of my favorites and it's not widely used yes and we've yeah we we.
8:25 - We really love this herb so um let's just start with Siberian G it's an adap it is U what does it do in the body like.
8:32 - What what are some of the things that you use it for in the clinic and what what's it been shown to do so so a lot of things I used to use a iighter to be.
8:38 - Honest I don't use it as much as I would use um with Ania or um um inding sing.
8:45 - But um usually for um exercise people who have a lot of um debility around.
8:51 - Exercise so if they're struggling with their fatigue R exercise that sort of thing it's really good for that um the.
8:59 - Russians were all over this in now what Olympics was it when the Russians started using it 1980s I think it was it.
9:06 - They they but even before well before that using steroids um but but um from that but but this is a legal thing it's.
9:13 - It's water approved so yeah but but but this yeah the Russians were using this.
9:18 - Quite secretively because it's called Siberian jining for a reason yeah that's right it's not called Australian Jing we.
9:24 - Don't have an Australian Jing do we no we don't sucks a bit it does suck bit but.
9:29 - This one is really good because it does normalize but also it's really particularly good for athletic.
9:34 - Performance very good for athletic performance yeah so so you know with regards to athletic performance who.
9:41 - Would you sort of look look you know who would you give this to what what sort of person you um I mean look across the.
9:46 - Board I would give it to generally stressed people um who who are quite flat so I give them I would give it that.
9:52 - People who do exercise I would give it for athletes um I also give it to people who have um low immune systems CU it's.
9:59 - An immune stimulant it's it's an amazing immune stimulant and and you've just kid across the paper here I'm going to read.
10:05 - The paper out people think that naturopaths don't look at evidence we were just joking we were just talking.
10:10 - About some famous pick up look at the freaking title of it it's like an essay.
10:15 - Advanced in the extraction purification structural characteristics and biological activities of Siberian gensing polysaccharides are promising.
10:22 - Medicinal and edible resource with development value that's the title of this journal can you it's Frontiers and.
10:29 - Ology so it's a real review paper and and it talks about here it's got one of those little charts that I love now it's.
10:37 - It's got a little diagram what it does now you said it boosts the immune system absolutely it does and it's got but it's.
10:43 - Got immuno regulatory activity now I think you said in the last podcast the inflammation is basically an immune.
10:50 - Activation yeah so we we just mentioned Siberian ginsing activates immune system.
10:55 - So you'd think it would activate inflammation as well wouldn't you yeah you would reduces inflammation it so it.
11:01 - Boost the immune system while reducing the inflammation because it inhibits [ __ ] too it's it's an anti-inflammatory.
11:08 - It is so so we've got this Nifty immune thing um that boosts the immune system.
11:15 - And also has anti-tumor activity it does have anti-tumor activity yeah um but also anti-inflammatory yeah and and.
11:22 - Usually when you get you know when you get immune activation you get a lot of free radicals cuz the the immune cells.
11:28 - Kill um bacterial cells by spurting out free radicals y this is an antioxidant as.
11:34 - Well it is I know it's an antioxidant so great for post viral infections and things like that so really WIP people.
11:41 - Out um very good for that um fatigue as we said mild depression it's actually.
11:47 - Been used in mild depression as well um and it's also very good for lymphatic.
11:52 - Flow really yeah very good for edema so yeah particularly lower Lim edema which.
11:58 - We were talking about in our last podcast talking some girls got it in the office some girls got it in the office.
12:03 - Exactly and interestingly in we also we just did a podcast on histamines it also.
12:09 - Helps to um uh inhibit M cell degranulation so therefore helps inhibit.
12:14 - Histamine for those slack asses what's a marel for the one who didn't listen last go back probably it's probably out now.
12:20 - Go back and listen to the we put out early now um Matt um a Mell so a Mell.
12:26 - Basically is involved in our immune system inflammatory that of so it has over 200 inflammatory markers.
12:33 - Inflammatory chemicals and it basically when it de granulates it sends all these little um inflammatory markers out to to.
12:41 - Deal with the inflammation basically and um histamines is one of those have a lot of people have issues with so if you.
12:47 - Haven't listened to the hisy podcast go back and listen to that but Siberian genin sing can actually inhibit that um.
12:53 - Degranulation so very good for um allergic issues as well allergies that.
12:58 - Type of and then your um edema that type of thing so really good can I give you another thing yes it helps lymphatic.
13:04 - System it also improves microcirculation yeah how great is that I that's good because and and it does.
13:10 - Contain active ingredients the flavenoids such as ctin um um it contains routin and hyp.
13:18 - Hypy which is another bavol so this is a really cool sort of medicine it's also.
13:25 - Got Trace elements calcium phosphorus magnesium iron vary of amino acids I'm just reading for.
13:31 - This paper but but microcirculation it's also good for the central nervous system.
13:36 - For the brain yes reduces cortisol yep if taken in the evening if taken in the.
13:42 - Morning cortisol goodu can you believe that I know that's like hang on a sec is.
13:48 - It anti or protis say well what does your body need y there you go so here you go here's another one it's very.
13:53 - Similar to that so it reduces blood glucose levels um and adrenal hypoglycemia MH and it induced uh sorry.
14:01 - And it increases um insulin induced hypogly so it helps when your blood sugar's low and it helps when your blood.
14:08 - Sugar's high normalize both of them unbelievable cuz if I gave you a shot of insulin now too much you did but it.
14:13 - Would drop your blood sugar level dramatically yeah I mean that's incredible and and this is what this is.
14:19 - And and again you know again for those who wondering I'm reading from a medical paper um absolutely incredible um it not.
14:26 - Stabilized oh you said that M mels it's really good so so I mean we've got lots of things I'll give you some other.
14:31 - Things it does m polysaccharides in it have demonstrated good therapeutic effects against tumors hyper lipidemia.
14:39 - Ah Cher so it helps reduce cholesterol um very good for as you mentioned.
14:44 - Diabetes and hypertensive diseases so it sort of acts as a stimulant without.
14:50 - Increasing your blood pressure in fact can reduce it if it's high yeah I mean this is you got to remember like you.
14:56 - Know I've spoken to my father-in-law who's a medical GP and there's nothing like this in medicine.
15:01 - No and and again we're not having a go this is this is how nature works and you.
15:07 - Can consume this this guy long term yep it has as I said anti but also in 2008.
15:13 - It was it was as you correctly pointed out it's antiviral as well and I love.
15:19 - This statement anti fatigue anti fatigue anti fatigue love it so you know as you.
15:26 - Said post viral syndrome if you've got a virus that's knocked you around you're absolutely fatigued this will normalize.
15:32 - The inflammation it's usually associated with that boost the immune system antiviral anti fatigue normalized blood.
15:39 - Sugar levels I mean this is a great thing to have if you've had a terrible virus yeah it is it's really good so um.
15:46 - Yeah and obviously helps with moving that lymph so it moves those toxins out of the body as well lymphatic flow is.
15:52 - Not driven by muscles y driven by contractions but this can actually help to to um flush those flush that lymph.
15:59 - Out as well the toxins in the lymph and that's involved with that um the cancer cells as well you they check lymph when.
16:06 - People have cancer see this so some of the cancer cells can be in the lymph as well so very good for that um yeah just.
16:13 - I love it I mean it's like I said it's not used a lot these days but it it should be utilized more because I used.
16:19 - To use it quite a bit I used it a lot when I was training um I found that really good for that sort of stress induced um exercise induced stress I.
16:27 - Found that really good for that as well so yeah um I just love I love it I love.
16:32 - It I mean you've got some great indications here one of them I'm going to sort of ask you about is avoid during.
16:39 - Acute phase of infections that's a really good point why why should we avoid during an acute infection cuz when.
16:45 - You got an acute infection obviously your immune system is over stimulating it's trying to get rid of the infection so it's hyp stimulated so if you put in.
16:53 - Uh subar engin sing it's going to then stimulate that a little bit more so then it can be hyper stimulate hyper.
16:58 - Stimulated so you want to avoid it just in that very you know initial stages of a virus but when you've got over it and.
17:04 - If you um um feeling quite debilitated from that virus it's the perfect time to put this in yep absolutely amazing now.
17:12 - Okay so let's say you're a healthy Jo six pack and you just want to get more out of your exercise yeah this is a.
17:18 - Great one this stud this is a great study this is a human study and I'll just read the title of it for those who.
17:23 - Are following at home it's a long one again the effects of 8 weeks of supplement with Siberian ginsing on.
17:29 - Endurance capacity and Metabolism in humans the numbers are phenomenal what happened with this study oh this is.
17:36 - Great so or you can go into it Steve CU well well they gave they got nine people who have uh trained males in college.
17:43 - They consumed it or Placebo so it was a double blind randomized Placebo controlled and crossover design with.
17:50 - Wash out that means it's a very strong piece of evidence so they gave they compared tobra they didn't know they.
17:55 - Were taking it double blind means the person giving them didn't didn't know what they were giving him randomized means it was made sure the groups were.
18:02 - Even across the board and there was um also crossover so in other words they.
18:08 - Gave one group and then they swapped them over halfway through the trial and just measured their output and the numbers here are absolutely phenomenal.
18:15 - The major finding of the study was that the V2 peak of the subject elevated by 12% and endurance time improved by 23%.
18:24 - That's huge isn't it 2% um and the highest heart rate increased by 4% so you could actually.
18:30 - Get more out of your heart yeah um they also found the second finding was at 30 minutes of 75% V2 Peak cycling the.
18:39 - Production of plasma fatty acids was increased and the glucose level was decreased so this kind of shows you that.
18:45 - It improves your endurance activity your Fitness and everything while burning.
18:51 - More fat yeah and while sparing your glucose yeah so you're actually telling.
18:57 - The body cian jining to burn more fat yeah who doesn't want that I know how good is it.
19:03 - And the interesting thing with a lot of these studies that we looked at too the higher the dose the less um the less.
19:09 - Effective it became so you don't even need to high dose it just it's not a high dose herb so um I thought that was.
19:14 - Really good because obviously it became they sort of plateaued with their um with the the results the higher they.
19:21 - Went so lower dose herb which is great as well you don't need as much of it for a good effect no this was 800 Mig a day.
19:27 - Which is not much that's right so I mean you know this is a pretty good trial wasn't a lot of people but I'll tell you.
19:33 - What they're amazing on um on the capacity I mean absolutely incredible I.
19:39 - Mean it's just really good herb for like.
19:44 - I'll paint a picture for you if someone who is you know sluggish in the morning wants more out of exercise has some sort.
19:52 - Of post viral syndrome or a shitty immune system um and or or somebody who.
19:57 - Just um is is suffering sort of you know to try to help lose weight this would be.
20:04 - Great for you yeah it' be fantastic relas of fatigue so you feel like exercising more you can get more.
20:09 - Exercise done yep you can improve your your cardiio system and burn more fat.
20:14 - Yeah helps with the allergies so if you do have allg exercise induced histamine issues it can be good for that as well.
20:20 - So there's that issue so yeah I mean it's an incredible herb to take all day.
20:25 - Every day really yeah no said I love it it should be used more yeah oh it's got.
20:30 - A side effect of being anti-cancer as well yeah anti cancer anti-cancer is is um quite a good study in there we've got.
20:36 - On that yeah we have yeah it was on colon cancer which is one of the most common cancers yeah and different lines of cancer cuz there's different lines um.
20:43 - And so this is really an incredible adaptogen yeah stimulates DNA synthesis.
20:49 - Cellular repair enzymes antioxidant activity as you said yep um there go.
20:54 - This is a good one Steve yeah what's this is a study increases the reproductive capacity in sperm counts in.
21:00 - Bulls really yeah so if it does that in Bulls what's it do in people.
21:06 - Well yeah I don't want to increase my sperm count that don't want of kids geez no that's a that's a bad idea no you.
21:13 - Watch you got two emails coming coming out of that no no but but but seriously if you're a you know say say you're a.
21:20 - Couple and and the guys stressed and can't sleep and all this crap and fatigued and and sick from this and that.
21:28 - This would be a great addition yeah really especially if you're trying to have a family yeah very good for you too.
21:34 - Yeah well any adaptogen is very good you know cuz when you're trying to have a family and there's a lot of stress involved if it's not happening so.
21:41 - Getting those adaptogens in there yeah um stops that sort of um stress response which then impacts your fertility.
21:49 - Anyway Cal's you know good good balanced nervous system is important I I find it.
21:55 - Quite incredibly um and and you know yeah it's got you know the biological activities in this paper that I read out before the big long name it's got.
22:02 - Anti-tumor activity against anti-lung anti- liver cancer and other anti-cancer.
22:07 - Effects imuno regulatory action you know you never see that word too often you see immunosuppression or immuno but this.
22:13 - Is immuno regulatory activity anti-inflammatory and antioxidant just.
22:19 - Extraordinarily good for the human body in in many many ways and look at all the studies there I know just goes on.
22:26 - Forever there's a lot of studies we couldn't read them oh three pages imun mod and and you know.
22:32 - What I love about the imun when I was flicking through them you know it showed that it increased t one and reduced T 2.
22:39 - But in people with t 1 dominance reduced it y it's like hang on which what which.
22:44 - Way it it does both so they they they give you know there's loads of animal studies in here too where they they give.
22:50 - Them lemia for example it's anti-leukemia yeah I mean an you know it just go goes on forever um so I love.
22:59 - About that one but this is still not my favorite herb of these two I love it.
23:04 - Yeah but I love the other one more I think I love the other one more as well but like I said I used to put these two.
23:11 - Together a lot in the mix oh yeah all the time because they were my two favorite adaptogens I'm really really.
23:16 - Good for that stress response for so many different reasons but this other one with the ashwaganda or the Indian.
23:22 - Jining whichever however you want to say got other names too it's got winter cherry yeah I mean love the names of.
23:28 - These things yeah sh Shanda is you say it that's Artic yep um yeah so withania.
23:37 - Um yeah this is have to be one of my favorites this is this is my favorite and and and I love it because you know.
23:44 - We've got a a brief summary of what it does here um but but what we need to talk about is not.
23:50 - All are created equal yeah yeah I was going to quote Martin Luther King I don't know.
23:57 - All men are created equal we hold these truths to be.
24:04 - Self-evident um oh jeez I can't remember it was 196 something he spoke about so.
24:11 - With anas not all of them are created equal no like you can get some for 10 bucks yeah and this is the magic herb.
24:17 - But it's it's not no it's probably just dried root it's probably maybe 1%.
24:24 - Withania 99% dirt dust oh yeah there is that too so so there's also what we call.
24:33 - Um proprietary um Blends now propar bl's got a bad name because it it it sort of.
24:39 - Says oh does that mean we don't know what's in it no when you when you extract a herb a certain way you can.
24:45 - Actually patent that way of extracting a herb yeah so it's like special processes not much heat all a special solvents to.
24:52 - Get it out non-toxic ones because you can get actives from herbs by alcohol or.
24:57 - By water or both yeah and mostly they're both yeah and then you draw the water away from it you take the fiber out you.
25:04 - Only use the part that's required in this case it's the root and and there is an extract type called.
25:12 - Ksm66 mhm and you might go what the hell is that well that extract is probably.
25:17 - One of the most tested forms of ashwaganda yeah and and it's got so many.
25:24 - Studies on it now and I'm going to read you a couple and I'm going to contradict myself ooh in a way controversy.
25:32 - Controversy a little bit well if it won't be now you know what an adap is but the first thing I want I want to say.
25:38 - And and this goes for anyone is that it's extraordinarily good this extract particularly for treating Stress and.
25:44 - Anxiety yeah so if you've got suffer from any stress or any anxiety this would be good and and it has to be this.
25:51 - Form because this is a form that was tested in this particular study and it's called a perspective randomized double.
25:56 - Blind P control study the safety and effec of high concentration full spectrum extract of asander root in.
26:02 - Reducing Stress and Anxiety in adults now I I love this and and they gave them.
26:09 - The the treatment group was given the the Asanda obviously the ksm66 firm and.
26:14 - They assess the the reduction in um anxiety and you know when you get those significant numbers and you got the P.
26:21 - Value and all that [ __ ] and it's got to be less than P5 that means that there's only a 20% oh.
26:27 - Sorry a 5% chance that this was by chance these results so the lower that.
26:33 - Number the P value the better the end of this study had a P value of less.
26:39 - Than. 0 0 1 wow so the results are highly.
26:47 - Significant that's an understatement um so there were no serious adverse effects.
26:53 - And the conclusion was that the findings of this study just said High concentration full spectrum ksm66.
26:59 - Asander roote safely and effectively reduces individual's resistance towards stress and thereby improves the self.
27:06 - Assessed quality of life because they assess their quality of life now you got to remember that that this the best way.
27:12 - To get rid of stress is to try and eliminate the stress that's right okay if you got a partner get rid of him.
27:18 - There's my marital advice here yeah exactly come to me for.
27:23 - Advice I I'll s you I did 6 months of counseling just talking about that I.

27:47 - Um KL young and all that that's what we learned about it's like I don't agree with any of those guys probably way.
27:53 - Smart than I of course I but I just you know I just thought is this really relevant yeah but anyway but moving on I.
28:00 - Want yeah yeah let's move on to another topic sperm oh even better can we talk.
28:06 - About sperm let's talk about sperm great all right okay you want to Breaking I.
28:13 - Know it's not it's not the most um the I don't like talking about guy stuff it's.

28:26 - Jeez about being a guy I mean not about SP I'm not an expert on.
28:31 - SP but but but let's let's say you wanted more.
28:37 - Sperm right you wanted yeah you wanted to produce more sperm I definitely don't want we're being hypothetical here you.
28:44 - Want more sperm I can get you more sperm you want to know how that's we're talking to the cameras.
28:50 - Right now we're talking to the C I'm not looking at Nikki looking at me but but if you give this type of you know ksm66.
28:57 - As to a guy a real guy yeah who's still got the twig and berries I don't know.
29:02 - What's the P know but but let's say this there was a study done and they gave it.
29:08 - To guys with low sperm Camp yeah and their sperm increased by a percentage.
29:13 - Now I'm going to give you a multiple choice question so if you play along at home I'm not going to look at the paper did it increase did it increase by.
29:21 - 10% 15 m 30 or 167% oh wow yeah look I'm going to.
29:30 - Have to go with d cuz you always go with you can't believe you said that are.

29:51 - See I've Got My Cry tissue I knew it was going to come out where's my tissue I going to cry too.
29:57 - I'm crying because of the emails we're going to get you're mildly inappropriate this has really gone in a different direction than we had planned but yeah.
30:04 - Well it's C or D isn't it I'm I'm going to say it was the highest percentage.
30:09 - Steve am I right so you're going to go with the D going to go with 100 what was it I'm completely lost 16 160 something.
30:18 - Per was it 167% wow that's massive isn't it it's massive it's a massive letter D.
30:24 - Let me tell you jeez okay there be going on here but the.
30:31 - Sperm cat increased by 167% that's crazy isn't it from from 9.
30:38 - Million per mil to 25 million per mil of sperm wow don't read the next.
30:47 - Bit what did you say I didn't even understand that I don't read the next part we don't need to read the next part.
30:53 - We have to read the next part that's part of the results can't read the next part now want more volume of sperm.
30:59 - Clearly I did not look at these papers before we came in here this is.
31:04 - Scientific discuss scientific Ser get serious steeve just you're crying again.
31:10 - We're trying to trying to keep it serious here you keep going off track well if you want more volume of sperm.
31:15 - Yes okay just if you hypothetically want more volume it increase the volume by a.
31:22 - Mil went from 1.7 mil to 2.7 mil of sperm wow that's better than 1.7 is.
31:29 - Better than 1.7 more than Mario that's right so so so if you if you.
31:37 - Take hisult your tear ducks are very loose aren't they Sorry.
31:43 - Y it's hard to look at you when you're crying I'm sorry I'm crying cuz I'm just you know I'm going to get can't believe.
31:50 - You made Nick cry in a PO I know he's making me cry a there all sorts of.
31:56 - Reports going on now so so you're going to get more sperm per meal and more Mills of sperm yes I mean that's that's.
32:03 - Pretty good particularly if you you're interested in fertility yeah it's that's what you want I know it's what you want.
32:09 - You want more of it and they want the more quality yeah so I mean that's pretty remarkable if you want more sperm.
32:15 - That's what's another study you've got there Steve no we're still on the sperm study I'm sorry we got one more okay do.
32:21 - You want The Little Swimmers to swim slow or swim fast oh well you know everyone wants to win the race don't.
32:26 - They this increases sperm motility so you get faster sperm it goes.
32:33 - From a speed of 18 mhm to a speed of 29 wow that's a big jump so you get more.
32:39 - Swimmers mhm more volume of swimmers and more speed it's just that's everything.
32:45 - You want don't make me cry can we swap over can we next stud next can we move.
32:50 - On all right all good this is a bit more um I'll skip to this one and we'll go back to that one yeah cuz if if I take.
32:57 - It cuz this sounds like a real male herb yes and what we find is that when you.
33:03 - Take this you get a boost of your testosterone muscle strength and Recovery how cool is that that's really.
33:11 - Good that's good for old men like me so you'll find that that let's say you're doing a bench press okay yeah okay so so.
33:20 - After certain exercises the placebo groups they did a placebo control trial.
33:25 - Randomized trial and they wanted to to give you strength so after a few weeks they gave one group ASO and one group.
33:31 - The placebo the placebo group after their exercise increased bench press by 26 kilos so that's pretty good huge.
33:38 - Isn't it well it's not as huge as the next thing I'm going to give you okay number number yes number give me a.
33:47 - Number all right 26 for the place 46 for ashwaganda really.
33:53 - 46 kilo increase in Ben strength yeah wow so that's actually is quite amazing.
33:59 - Isn't it you sound surprised I am surprised I am surprised no this was published in.
34:04 - The Journal of international science of Sports Nutrition so it's a randomized control trial reputable very reputable y.
34:11 - Now leg leg extension it boosts that too okay so you got that as well um it also.
34:17 - Gives you greater muscle size increase in the arms um the the placebo group.
34:23 - Increased their arm size by 5.3 CM which is good big that's that's a lot 5 cm is.
34:29 - Quite big and what about ashw gandas 8.6 wow so 3% on top 3 cm on top of that.
34:37 - That's uh chest increase 1.4 to 3.3 with ashanda wow so so you know and and also.
34:43 - The soreness you know you get that crappy soreness afterwards Asanda reduces the muscle soreness wow and also.
34:50 - There there is a chemical measure for muscle damage and of course weirdly with this.
34:56 - One what what you want is you want a bit more muscle damage so you can get more recovery asander improves that too wow.
35:03 - Look at that but this is this is where the the pie of resistance is okay that.
35:09 - Um I like that it's very French that's a very French isn't it all right so let's say you're measuring testosterone mhm.
35:15 - You get increases of 18 nog per DEC with Placebo grip with as reg Ganda you get.
35:22 - Increases of 96.2 wow that's amazing isn't it that is.
35:28 - AB actually am I actually have not have read have not read these studies so I am actually quite impressed you know that.
35:34 - Guy that used to sell the steak KN yeah on TV one of you know said but wait there's more more yeah there is more oh.
35:40 - God can you ready same study sameish okay if you what about body fat who wants to lose body fat no everybody well.
35:46 - When you exercise for the placebo you get 1.5% body fat drop which is good Asanda.
35:52 - 3.5% body fat wow that's crazy don't you love it yeah that's awesome um and of.
35:58 - Course you know the study conclusion says that it's just absolutely damn brilliant okay now let's say you're not.
36:04 - Into the gym but you like running and exercising you're Ching along is it good for that you bet yep you bet yep um and.
36:12 - You're going to love this um there was a greater increase from Baseline in the mean V2 Max with the KSM 66 Asanda.
36:19 - Compared to the placebo and you know the P values mhm less than Z.
36:28 - .1 wow incredible isn't it that's good isn't it oh so it really does help you.
36:34 - With cardiovascular exercise so I don't give a [ __ ] what exercise you do this will be good for you yeah that's awes so.
36:40 - Screw your sperm we we're going so so you can see this is a real male herb isn't it I mean traditionally in.
36:46 - Herbally it is considered a male herb but there is lots of benefits for females what would happen if you give it.
36:52 - To a chick do you want me to read this study or not go on go on do it yeah you.
36:58 - Read this one this one's not one I want to yeah yeah yeah actually yeah you please read this study I'll read the.
37:03 - Title of it and then you can talk about it cuz this is awkward ksm66 as for.
37:09 - Female sexual function and this is EIC in safety of ashanda root in improving.
37:15 - Sexual function in women okay so what does it do for women okay um so I I can.
37:22 - Just read the conclusion jump straight to the conclusion stage well there's there's the numbers the description.
37:28 - Throughout the results there if you want to read what it does specifically for women okay so what it actually does.
37:34 - Specifically for women comparison relative to the placebo um.
37:40 - Uh well the P score y for arousal right.
37:45 - Lubrication Y and Orgasmo so lubrication and arousal this is I'm so sorry we I.
37:52 - Did not know we were going to go down these routes today um Nick we're have to cut that out.
37:59 - Too God go down this track I didn't realize we're going to go this track um.
38:04 - For arousal and lubrication it was 0.001 P score so you get way more.
38:10 - Aroused yep way more yep and for the next and the orgasm was.
38:16 - 0.4 so you're better orgasms better orgasms yeah and satisfaction again.
38:23 - 0.001 wow and leave the rest of yeah so um.
38:30 - What about it also there is one you skipped over I know I skipped over that number Steve I did that.
38:36 - Purposely I I don't I don't even know how to quantify this but the number of successful sexual encounters improved.
38:45 - Yes so women had more sex yes Asanda gets you anyway let's just say that.
38:52 - Women is a very good herb for women also so just looking at Matt thinking wow.
38:58 - I've got some heavy I didn't write the damn study just I did not I promise I did not look at these studies before.
39:05 - Look at them you purposely said I want to talk about female sexual when you said put your finger in your TAP there you said I want to talk about.
39:11 - Lubrication in women you're Evil Steve you're Evil all right oh god um let's move can.
39:19 - We get to a more medical one oh okay well we'll do the next one here this is a good one Mar can talk about this one okay okay what what are the two B.
39:26 - Complaints in life people are overweight and stressed yeah right yeah the title of this study basically the ksm66 which.
39:34 - Is all these studies are on that extract is great for reducing stress and burning.
39:39 - Fat that's what the next study is body weight management adults under chronic stress through treatment with asander ro.
39:46 - A double blind randomized Placebo controlled study another study um again so so what what they did was they they.
39:52 - Got these people who were stressed and overweight yeah it's about everybody isn't it approximately everybody it is.
39:58 - And what they did was they Placebo control trial so they they just said here take this we don't know what it is.
40:04 - And you take this we don't know what it is and the placebo group and they found that the the uh they they lost weight.
40:13 - And had a better perceived of stress but better than that they had a reduction in.
40:18 - What they called uncontrolled and emotional eating Behavior compared to a placeo group oh very you go so you know.
40:24 - When you struggle with your diet and you can't eat what you you know all this sort of stuff so so really really.
40:30 - Improved and the way it improved the mechanism that was that it reduced because these people are stress cortisol.
40:36 - Levels are high um compared to the placebo it dropped it by 22% that's huge.
40:41 - Isn't it ah so you know if you're stressed and overeating because of it uh it's it's absolutely incredible well I.
40:48 - Mean talking about a weight loss yeah so it also is a um TSH stimulant T improves.
40:56 - TSH so thyroid stimulating hormone it's been shown to um increase those levels as well so I've got a little bit of a um.
41:03 - Study here yeah you can read from the one the other Pap okay go for it um.
41:11 - So they had a little studies had 50 patients with elevated levels of serum thyroid stimulating hormone um between.
41:18 - The age of 18 and 50 um and then they're randomized to receive either 300 Mig of.
41:24 - Withania root twice a day or placebo weeks so the results showed that the um.
41:31 - Withania was able to reduce the serum TSH so remember we want T to be lower not higher um by 17% and increased um T3.
41:41 - And T4 levels by 42 and 20% resp respectively wow so how that's actually.
41:47 - A huge jump for your T3 and T4 so um very good for thyroid I've used it for.
41:53 - Thyroid in the past so so really good for thyroid so obviously it's it's really good for people with thyroid.
41:58 - Disorders um and that will help with your weight loss and your moods as well yeah so that could be a mechanism by.
42:04 - Which it's helping you but but isn't that fascinating that it reduced the TSH and these are this study that we're.
42:10 - Talking about is in subclinical hyp which a lot of people have not.
42:16 - Overt most people I see are subclinical yeah which means they're on the borderline they're kind of you know they.
42:22 - They've got low tho but it's not you know ridiculously you know needs medical intervention these are the people that.
42:28 - Are on the edge yeah um which is quite incredible um I I probably the the.
42:34 - Probably the one study that that I get a lot out of with with this asander extract is the effect it has on memory.
42:40 - And cognition yeah it's probably me cuz you know look you know my thyroid is fine my I don't need sperm count you.
42:48 - Know reduce stress I'm not a stressy type person I'm I'm lucky that Pisces you go with the flow I go with the flow.
42:54 - Pisces is the best looking star I saw I well second best I.
42:59 - Think that's what you say what's the best oh my God you totally missed the B that one I it's crazy but but but I am.
43:07 - 54 you are and so you know getting up there in age so I I worry about my brain.
43:13 - Because you know I pretty good at the moment but you don't know how long it's going to last and and you know my.
43:19 - Grandmother died terribly of alheim you know decayed is the only way you.
43:24 - Wouldn't say died just DEC bur remember it's terrible.
43:31 - Toine and you have amazing Inc brain Steve so you want to preserve that at the moment I do um so so I want to get.
43:38 - On to the wania km well the wania the ksm66 um improved what they found in.
43:45 - This particular study was it improved um memory verbal paired.
43:51 - Associates uh they helps you remember faces helps you remember family pict es.
43:56 - Logical memory uh verbal pair Associates um and and all sorts of other.
44:02 - Things so the treatment group also demonstrated significantly greater Improvement executive function sustained.
44:08 - Attention and information processing speed is indicated by um some charts and.
44:14 - That sort of thing so absolutely incredible for your for your brain I.
44:19 - Mean normally when you take say testosterone how going on a c roids you.
44:24 - Know real going nuts then then my brain will be adverse effect I'll become aggro whatever the case may be but this helps.
44:30 - My testosterone my sperm but and my brain at the same time yeah and you know.
44:37 - It it helps me um relax as well but you know what else helps me do what Steve sleep yeah see that's something a lot of.
44:44 - People Str with absolutely remarkable for sleep very good and you kind of think oh well who need sleep everybody.
44:51 - Everybody yeah now without sleep you got nothing you you know you try and stay awake you got no REM you will go.
44:56 - Literally nuts and and you will so what I love about this is that there was a.
45:03 - Study done double blo control trial 2019 where they took um basically you know.
45:09 - Two groups of people and the asander r um basically induced sleep dramatically.
45:17 - In these people um at a dose of 300 Mig extract of the ksm66 which is a pretty good dose um so.
45:26 - Yeah and the study concluded by saying it could be potential use for improving sleep parameters in patients with insomnia and anxiety but further large.
45:33 - Scale trials needed of course there is but isn't that interesting that if you can reduce someone's stress they can.
45:39 - Probably sleep better but this also improves their sleep yeah while boosting your thyroid now if you take yeah if you.
45:46 - Boost your thyroid at night you'll be awake not this no it's it that's the.
45:51 - Adaptogen yeah you know this just helps you regulate in all sorts of manners of life I mean.
45:58 - Isn't that incredible it is amazing the other thing I love about with is is a good blood Builder oh.
46:04 - Yeah yeah so people who are quite depleted um obviously that's that that helps with that um with with fatigue as.
46:11 - Well but it's very good for building blood in people so that's a really another good thing I love about it and.
46:17 - Immune immune regulation so that paired with the Siberian like it's pretty pretty Punchy for your immune system.
46:23 - Isn't it oh incredible for the immune system and incredible for you but you know let's say you take it for your.
46:28 - Immune system you know you got some sort of post viral thing great you know there's nothing wrong with that but it's.
46:34 - A side effect your testosterone will improve yeah your women's women will.
46:39 - Improve i w go to detail there but you know we did it before helps you sleep helps you reduce anxiety um helps your.
46:47 - Thyroid yep also is great for seniors it's really good for seniors actually yeah y for for obviously um you know.

47:11 - Mean I do take this stuff already I know um but but but you know it really does.
47:17 - Help me and incredible it was a study done on on elderly people and and they.
47:23 - Improved the the the the mean sort of Baseline brain score we'll call it was a.
47:29 - Whole range of things it went from 140 to 161 that's L that's greatest that.
47:34 - That's a scale so I went up dramatically so I mean it's great for an elderly.
47:39 - Person especially like me who's a male or even women who are you know getting a.
47:44 - Bit older MH and um you know look when I get older when men get older we start to.
47:50 - Lose you know male characteristics you know eventually will be on the blue.

48:23 - This one okay this is a study um and it'll give you a bit of a clue where it's going um effects of standardized.
48:29 - Rout of ashwaganda blah blah blah the ksm66 on well-being and sexual.
48:34 - Performance in adult males a randomized control trial so what they found in this.
48:41 - One was compared to the placebo again there there was massive improvements in.
48:48 - Male functioning can I just leave it at that yeah let's leave it everyone knows what that means yes um but also you know.
48:54 - What it else improved what testosterone levels dramatically improved in this.
48:59 - Particular study um so so that is absolutely remarkable and you want to know the the the P for this one.
49:06 - 0.001 again huge the conclusion it just says it also we have talk about details.
49:12 - Is the finding studies support asander root extracts is an aphrodesiac effect.
49:18 - On sexual well-being and adult men the mechan mechanism by which is due to an increase in serum testosterone so.
49:26 - Thus asander root extract may be utilized to Aid in the enhancement of male sexual function now let's say I pop.
49:32 - Some Viagra that won't change my um like liido no it just changes my functioning.
49:39 - It's a phospho the SR 5 inhibitor so once you get an erection it will help you hold it but this stuff boosts the.

50:25 - That I don't have the study but I was going to say go for it I was just going to say clinically so not looking at.
50:32 - Studies um this is very good postmenopausally yeah very good for hot flushes hot flashes flushes um and that.
50:40 - Per menopause phase but also cycling women as well can help with um regulating their cycle but very good for.
50:46 - That um for those hot flushes in postmenopausal women absolutely it is late per menopause so I find really good.
50:51 - Results with that so well you would because you know how much this increases this increases serum estral.
50:57 - Significantly do which is the potent estrogen stop flushes B value 001 again.
51:03 - I mean it also reduces FSH and LH because that goes up when women menopause this drops down so this is a.
51:09 - Great hormone Builder yes and I say that from if you're a man or a woman um so I mean this is absolutely.
51:18 - Remarkable yeah I look I use it traditionally as you said a male her but.
51:23 - I use it obviously the majority of my clients female um so I use it for females predominantly I used to use this.
