Ingredients
- 1 can or glass of organic chick peas - dried out on paper towel
- 1 cup of organic almonds
- 1 tbsp chia seeds
- 1 tbsp cinnamon
- 2 tbsp of maple syrup
- pinch of salt
Method
- Preheat oven to 160°C / 320°F (fan-forced).
- Combine the chick peas, almonds and chia seeds together in a bowl, next add the cinnamon and maple syrup and salt. Mix around until all the chick peas, almonds and chia are coated with cinnamon and the maple syrup.
- On a lined baking tray, lay the nuts out evenly and place it into the oven to roast them until they are golden brown, turning them all occasionally using a spoon.
- Allow to cool completely, store them in an airtight container for up to 1 week
