  • 4 scoops Gutright- 1 Scoop Per Serve
  • 400 grams (1 can) Black Beans (rinsed well) 
  • 3-4 pitted dates with 1/2 cup hot water
  • 1/4 cup almond or peanut butter 
  • 3 tablespoons applesauce 
  • 1 tablespoon cocoa powder 
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract 
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 3 tablespoon non-dairy milk 
  • Optional non vegan- add 2 scoops of choc Noway


  1. In a small bowl, add dates. Cover with 1/2 cup boiling water, set aside for 10 minutes.
  2. In a food processor, add dates, black beans, gut right, almond butter, applesauce, cocoa powder, vanilla, salt and non-dairy milk. Pulse to combine until all ingredients are mixed together, it should be a thick consistency if it’s too thick add more milk.
  3. Transfer to a bowl and put in fridge until its cold. Serve or Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 1 week.
