Golden Ginger, Turmeric, Gutright Cookies (Vegan)

Servings: 12 biscuits

Ingredients

  • 1 cup almond meal 
  • 1/2  cup organic coconut flour 
  • 2 tablespoons sesame seeds 
  • 1/2 cup crushed hazelnuts with skins on  
  •  Pinch salt
  • 1 tsp mixed spice 
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 3 tsp ground ginger 
  • 1 knob fresh ginger / add to your strength likes – grated 
  • 12 caps of Adrenal RX (or you can use 1 knob fresh grated turmeric)
  • 5 scoops of Gutright
  • 1 tsp baking powder 
  • 1 ripe bananas mashed 
  • 1/3 cup maple syrup 
  • 3 tablespoons melted coconut oil  
  • 2 tbsp almond butter 

Method

  1. To make the cookies / pre-heat your oven to 180 degrees Celsius
  2. Mix all the dry ingredients in a large bowl then add the melted coconut oil, add in the banana’s, maple syrup, almond butter, fresh ginger and turmeric – mix to combine everything.
  3. Shape the mix into balls and pop them onto a lined baking tray then bake for approx 20-25 minutes until slightly brown on the outside.
