Wild Picked Black Berry Protein Shake

I am so lucky to live in a place where fruit trees are abundant all around our streets and neighborhood, I am even more blessed with black berry bushes that run for about half a km down the back of my property. Around Jan and into Feb, the summer season for Melbourne, they become such a delicacy and a family evening get together picking black berries and staining our hands. A delicious antioxidant its deeply colored purple red sparks so much happiness in our bellies.

  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • Handful of ice

Method

  1. Mix all the ingredients into a NUTRIBULLET or blender of choice and whiz together to the desired texture ( I like mine with bits in it still, it grosses my husband out though ha ha).
